The 500,000-ton annual polyvinyl chloride project of Xinpu Chemical (Taixing) Co., Ltd. is located in Taixing Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province. As a key project of Xinpu Chemical to strengthen and supplement its supply chain, the project started construction in December 2022, was completed in December 2024, and will be put into trial operation in early 2025.

The project adopts ethylene polymerization technology to prepare polyvinyl chloride, which has the advantages of high resource utilization efficiency, good environmental performance, easy control of production process and large production scale, which is in line with the development direction of the park’s refinement, high-end and green development. The project will form a closed loop with Xinpu Chemical’s existing 900,000 tons of vinyl chloride (VCM) unit and 750,000 tons of caustic soda unit, and realize the efficient recycling of raw materials and energy through the public pipeline corridor in the park, further strengthen the synergy effect of the chlor-alkali industry chain, enhance Xinpu Chemical’s market competitiveness in the field of polyvinyl chloride, and inject new impetus into the company’s development.

As a long-term supplier of water pump equipment and related products to Xinpu Chemical, Ebara Zibo has formulated a scientific and reasonable circulating water system solution for this project, supplying a total of 4 sets of Ebara C-type horizontal double-suction split case pumps. This series of pumps has excellent hydraulic performance and adopts advanced double-suction structural design. Under large flow and high head conditions, it has high operating efficiency, saving operating costs while ensuring that the water pump can operate safely and stably for a long time.
